One of the most popular forms of exercise in the world is yoga. Yoga is said to be one of the oldest forms of exercise known to man. It is evolved over centuries and today, people all over the world practice yoga on a daily basis. However, there are a lot of people that do not wish to suddenly take up yoga because they feel it is too slow or their bodies are too rigid to stretch out. But there is a simple way to start practicing yoga, because going step by step is the only way to ensure that this ancient form of exercise is practiced correctly.

First of all, one needs to understand that there are different types of yoga and depending on the type that they like best, people can opt for their most preferred style. The types of yoga include ashtanga, Bikram, Iyengar, Kundalini, etc. All of these are different from one another, some need extensive amount of stretching while others are slightly more fast paced. Thus, depending on the preference and the type of yoga that appeals to you best, you can always start off with that type of yoga and then slowly advance to the higher levels of yoga.

When starting out, do your homework. Check out a few yoga studios and ask around as to which is the best one or which yoga center offers the type of yoga that you're looking for. Ask around and speak with the instructor to find out what kind of yoga treatment is best suited for you, depending on your aim, like flexibility or weight loss. Once these details have been discussed with the yoga instructor, it will become easier to focus on exercising.

Last but not the least, one very important factor that needs to be taken into consideration is discipline. Since yoga is a continuous form of exercise, people need to be regular in their classes as missing a few classes in between may render a person slightly inflexible again. This may lead to problems when rejoining the class after a gap. So, for best results, be regular and start with something easy and appealing to you as this will aid in making sure that your workout is enjoyable and beneficial to you at the same time. So, get hold of that yoga mat and start practicing this all in one form of exercise now.

One of the most common and reprehensible use of plastics in the world, including India is as packing material.

The polythene bags came into our market only as late as 1982. But they have given such a beating to our recycled news papers bags the one hardly sees the latter now. Few however, seem aware of the dangers of the plastic carry bags.

Polythene bags often caused the death of infants the world over. Babes love to cover their heads with polythene bags as a part of their play but cannot remove them from their heads and often die gasping for breath since air will not pass through polythene. It is mandatory for plastic bags to carry warnings about them being used as play things for children.

Most plastic toys are also required to be made of non-toxic material and carry statements to the effect.

The same is the fate of fish and other marine life, when polythene finds its way into the waters, as it often does.

Plastic indeed poses a sticky disposal problem for the world at large. You cannot burn it. If you throw it away, it may choke the drain. So you cannot get rid of it. Once you have produced it, it has enveloped your life. Ann Leolard of the internationally known environmental group. ‘Green Peace’ says, “substantial amount of toxic – chemical released in plastic production can cause cancer and congenital defects and damage the nervous system, blood, kidneys and immunity systems. These chemicals can also cause serious damage of eco-system.
