Like previous years, this year also Hilton Head Island with Island Recreation Association, USCB and TD Bank announces one of the finest events of the island, the Hilton Head Burgers & Brew Festival. This year the event will be organized on Saturday, September 28 from 11am-5pm. This is the event when local restaurants cook their best burgers in a vibrant, festive atmosphere accompanied with live music.
No visit to Hilton Head is complete without indulging in the Lowcountry celebrations of such events. Last year, the Burgers & Brew Festival saw the participation of all top rated Hilton head restaurants such as The Lodge, Reilley’s, Cheap Seats, Frankie Bones, the Brew Pub, Hudson’s, The Marriott, Charbar, The Westin, Coco’s on the Beach, Wild Wing Café and Harbourside Burgers & Brew. All these restaurants presented their best cookery.
Burgers & Brew Festival of the Hilton head restaurants is the best occasion to showcase their talents and their most excellent cooking style. In addition this festival also enables the restaurant owners to know people choice too. The festival has special voting system that ends at 4pm which lets the crowd decide the best restaurant and its cooking abilities by people's choice award.
The festival is preferred by both tourists and locals alike. This year along with the best burger and the high quality beer, other entertainment zones will also be set up such as TV for football & kid zone. Meanwhile one end of the park will be converted into a beer garden which will display over 20 different beers from Budweiser available to taste. Entrance fee to enter the garden and experience the souvenir tasting glass is very affordable.
The fund raised at the Burgers & Brew Festival organized by Hilton Head Island Recreation Association benefit the Scholarship Fund and the USCB Hospitality Program. This is sure to be a wonderful program as the festival initiate competition of all Hilton Head restaurants against each other by trying to prepare the best slider.
Burgers & Brew Festival has certain rules as the burgers to be presented here do not have to be hamburgers, they can be chicken, shrimp or crab. Thus to experience the most excellent burger preparation or just to have fun with tasting the fresh brewed beer, visit the Shelter Cove Park on 28th of September 2013.
