My cousin , Natasha, from London had been going through a very rough phase. At twenty five,  she couldn't come to terms with the fact that it was happening her- her  parents were getting divorced. To make matters worse , she herself was a psychologist and attended to many such cases day in and day out. However hailing from a loving family she could never come to terms with the fact that it would happen to her. To add to her woes, her parents had found separate partners and she couldn't live with her world being torn apart. Depression was an understatement . No one could reach  out to her and she wouldn't talk.
As she was with my family for a few days in Kolkata, we made a pleasure   trip to Nature Cure and Yoga Centre on the outskirts of the city.  It was here that Natasha actually began to heal, we could see it and feel it. By the end of two days spent there, she had made peace with herself and come to terms with the bitter reality - not that she could change it but how she could not let it take away her peace of mind. So what was it at Nature Cure that brought about the change in Natasha?  I wondered.
We were four brothers and sisters including her who had gone for the trip. We indulged in the various packs of treatment , like the mud pack, sauna bath and the very relaxing steam bath. As naturopathy addresses the vital forces of life, it removes the negative energy from congested areas, thereby facilitating smoother flow of positive energy. The next day, there was a choice between the gymnasium, yoga and meditation we opted for the later. Natasha realized the power of Sudarshan Kriya and fell in love it.
Besides the beautiful Radha Krishna Temple with hymns being chanted in the evening, and the serenity of the luxurious greenery all around made her feel cradled in the loving arms of nature.
As we returned home  Natasha, thanked me , saying “ Thanks Brother for the trip else I would never have realized why our eyes are in front of our heads - so that we can see where we are going and not be bothered by what is past !”
Glad I was that I could pass on at least this much of peace to person who had gone stone cold. Thanks to Nature Cure and Yoga Centre!
