It is unique phenomenon allowing individuals to meet and form connections with strangers as well as revive and maintain with the ones already known.

In simpler words social networking sites provide the individuals with the forum to share their activities and information with families, friends, colleagues or acquaintances. Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc are examples of most popular social networking sites.
